PLUS SIZE CLOTHES STORES IN THE PHILIPPINES

Hello Ladies,


I know that in our country, dressing up for a plus-size woman is very hard, plus the fact that it is much 'more' expensive than the usual, finding a perfect shop is as hard as getting a cab during friday-night-pay-day. So to less  haggard and trouble, I'l share some places/shops that I do know, like and visit that might help you. 

1. SM Department store PLUS SIZE section for women. Whether the brand is Balleno or others, you can easily find clothes here that you can wear in all occasions or even the plain maong pants and shirt porma that everybody wants to wear. I always go here especially those days that I kept on buying 'panglabas shorts' as I call it :)


2. The BIG shop. You can find it in almost all SM branches or malls near you. I dont know if its just me or what but I dont usually like their style coz I feel that it's kinda too old for my age hahaha! tho Im not saying that there outfits are not nice, Its just that they aren't my type prolly. 


3. Wish Do Come True. This is a shop in Tutuban Mall Annex, most of their style is Korean and I can always get a blouse that fit perfect to me. Its a lot cheaper than the other stores that I mentioned and the quality of the blouses and pants are good.


4. Tubby. It can be found in most of the malls here in the metro. They're a bit expensive tho and if you wanna know how their style look, just look at Jessica Soho coz most of her look is from Tubby. I dont usually recommend Tubby for all the teenage girls out there, coz the style might be different.


5. Landmark. I would say that Landmark is the 'Sosyal' version of Tutuban hahaha! but they also have lots of plus sizes clothes/brands that you can choose from. Good thing about it is that most of it is affordable :)


6. 168. On the top floor of 168, you will be amazed to see plus-sizes shops. Most of them are selling dresses that look awesome :) but just be careful and make sure that you fit them first coz most of their dresses are too big and doesnt have curves hihihi :) but you can maybe have it altered anyways. Dresses usually cost around 800php and you can even ask for a discount.


7. Herbench. If you are still a teen and you are on the XL, XXL, and XXXL sizes, you can definitely find nice blouses and shirts in Bench. The good thing about their shop is that they are somewhat stretchable and very fashionable.


8. Maldita. When I was still required to wear slacks in the office, I would buy one in Maldita especially if they're having a sale coz I can get a 70% off :) I would suggest to go to their shop when they have a sale coz you can get a better deal.


9. Shopforplus. Shop for plus shop is actually a multiply shop. This is a perfect shop for all the lads out there who doesnt have enough time to go to the mall and waste 5hrs to just look for a perfect dress. I really like this shop :)  just visit the website so you would know http://shopforplus.multiply.com 


10. Avon/Boardwalk. I think this is the most common and best for busy people. They also have different looks to chose from, just make sure to check the back page coz most of the time, the plus size clothes are on sale :) The problem that I'm seeing with this, is that, you might bumped in to someone that is wearing the same thing that you are wearing hahaha!


ALWAYS REMEMBER:


1. Try it first before buying, Don't be to shy to ask for the fitting room.


2. Check it first before buying or might as well look for a new stock.


3. Dont feel down if the tindera tells you that you are fat or worst uber fat. The tindera is simply uneducated to tell that to her customers.


4. Don't wear a MATERNITY cloth especially if you are not pregnant. 


5. BE POSITIVE in trying some new styles :)

Fafinete is a filipino beauty guru that is based in the U.S., i do like her because she's really good in combining eye shadow colors and she's also doing some reviews with different make up products. Her feature is soo pinoy thats why i think, if I will be using the colors that she's using it will also look good on me hahahaha.. She may not be super beautiful as other gurus but she has this awesome appeal to people, very cute :) as of today she has 301,799 subscribers in youtube

Check her tutorials so you would know how good she is. Because of her youtube success, Barry M cosmetics hired her to do tutorials for them to be posted on their website. According to her interview with Lauren Luke, she doesnt have much confidence and friends thats why youtube became her comfort zone. As of today she has 462, 590 subscribers

Based on her feature I can say she has an asian blood hahahaha..okay,she doesnt have any info about herself on her channel in youtube thats why am guessing hahaha..I like her hair tutorials because they're very helpful. Sandy gold, i think, is the prettiest guru among them. I just recently found her tutorials in youtube and i instantly fell in love with it. Her videos are well edited thats why you will be encouraged to watch all 38 vids (too bad she doesnt have many). She is a professional make-up artist, located in Toronto, Canada. ALWAYS REMEMBER:

1. Please don't imitate all their look, coz some looks might be 'Too Much' for you to use.

2. Try to do it while watching them, anyhow you can pause and play it back one you're done.

3. Don't be sad if you didn't achieve the look that you are trying. There is always a next time for you to do it.

FEEL PRETTY WITH MAKE-UP

I know everyday is not our 'pretty day' and sometimes we just end up cancelling our meeting, not go to work or worst never tried working coz you feel unpretty. Well, dont hide yourself and get out of the bed and face your awesome mirror. Today is the day that I will give you some tips that I got from the Net on how to apply make-up :) This is how I learn to put make up on my face. I read some articles and watch some videos.

1. Apply a concealer that is one shade lighter than your foundation. Dot it on over any blemishes or under-eye circles and blend with your fingertips or a makeup sponge. If your concealer tends to cake, apply eye cream first.

2. Choose foundation that matches your skin tone exactly. Apply it in dots over the central part of your face, then blend it out with a makeup sponge or your fingertips until it covers your entire face (see Related eHows).

3. Use a loose or pressed powder to keep foundation and concealer on longer. Use pressed powder to touch up when you're away from home.

4. Do your eyebrows next. Use powdered eyebrow shadow on brows instead of pencil, which can often look unnatural. Apply it with a hard, slanted brush.

5. Choose three colors of eye shadow: light, medium and dark. Use the dark only to line your upper eyelid, in a fairly thin line along the upper lashes. Use the medium shade for the crease and the lightest shade for the area under the eyebrow. There are many variations on eye shadow application techniques (see Related eHows).

6. Apply eyeliner. Use a cake eyeliner with a damp, thin liner brush, or an eyeliner pencil, and line the lower lid below the lashes. Line only the outer two-thirds of the lower lid, or all the way across if you're trying to achieve a darker look. Line all the way across the upper lid (just above the lash line and as close to the lashes as possible), or start the line where your lashes begin.

7. Apply mascara to upper and lower lashes, in two thin coats to avoid clumpiness. Choose brown mascara if your coloring is fair; black or brown-black works well for darker coloring. Or try a colored mascara such as navy or plum for fun, but don't go too bright if you want to be taken seriously.

8. Smile to find the apples of your cheeks, and apply blush to the apples or below, whichever you prefer. If you have to blend in blush, it's too bright.

9. Choose a lipstick color that's suited to your skin tone and that's perfect for your day look. You can mix colors and textures to suit your moods and your outfits 

10. Line lips after applying lipstick, not before. That way you won't end up with a dark circle of lip liner after your lipstick has worn off. Avoid combining very dark lip liner and pale lipstick.

1. If you feel Awkward about putting make up on your face, DONT BE! WE ARE ALL PRETTY..


2. Practice makes perfect, try to put make-up on your face when you go to work/school so that people around you will get use to it and of course not only them but YOU as well.

I know we all get tired due to tons of work and activities that we do in a week or a month and sometimes we just feel that we needed some time to relax and chill :) If you think that your body needs some loving and some touchin..Well, I think SPA is the answer to that and if you want a CHEAPER one, Continue Reading to know more.

1. WENSHA SPA (Timog Q.C. or Macapagal Ave.). A good place to go to, for only 680php. you can have a body massage with free use of their amenities plus Buffet / Shabu-Shabu. Open 24 hrs.


2. ACE WATER SPA ( Del Monte Q.C.). This I havent tried but I heard from friends that this is a good one too. I was given estimation that its about 500php. Open 24 hrs.


3. OTHERS. I was given info that in D. TUAZON the have a lots of Spa centers too that are very affordable. They are ranging 250-350php. The catch is, make sure that you would go to a place thats credible coz if not, you might be asked if you want some EXTRA SERVICE. hahahaha!




ALWAYS REMEMBER:


1. If you have heart problems, please avoid the massage thing coz it might not end good.
2. If you're being asked if you want it Soft, Medium, Hard or Super Hard, ask them first to try it in your hands so you would know what to chose from.
3. If you're an OC person make sure that you have your own personal kit like shampoo, soap or hair brush.
4. Avoid wearing girdles coz you might have a hard time removing it :)
5. ALWAYS BE CONFIDENT.
