Big Girls: What's in my Makeup bag?

Hello Ladies! I love watching tag videos in youtube and basically, I get the inspiration of doing this post from there haha! So here it is 😊

What's in my makeup bag?

First, I am using a makeup bag that I got free from Revlon. It is red spacious suede bag that says LOVE in front of it. Inside it are the following:

For Face, I have two foundation that I always bring. Revlon Colorstay in Medium Beige (#240) and Essence all about Matt! in matt nude (#20). I bring both because I'm moody AF to what I wanna use on my face haha! I love Revlon's Colorstay because it stays on my face for hours!! Its claim of 24hrs stay is so true according to my oily fes! but there are days that I find too white for me because I'm really tan sometimes. Essence all about matt! is something that I use when I wanna do my makeup quickly. I like it but not as much as I like colorstay 😏 (P.S. No hard feelings Essence lol).

Also for face, I bring with me Sephora's Argentinean Duo: Silk blush bronzer duo that I use for blush and a bit of contouring but doesn't really give me justice haha so it might be the product or I suck doing contour on my face. I also have Essence all about matt! Fixing compact powder that I use after I put my foundation on. Honestly, I'm not a fan of it

For my eyes, I don't have any eyeshadow because I'm very simple and I don't know how to put it haha 🙂 So Going back--for my lashes, I have a curler and Revlon Ultimate all-in-one mascara. For my brows, I have Rucy's Vanity Auto eyebrow pencil in brown and Revlon Brow Fantasy by Colorstay in Brunette.

For my lips, I always bring 3 lippies because I am crazy hahaha! Revlon Matte Balm in three shades Enchanting Ravisantte, Fiery Flamboyante and Showy Flamboyante. Fiery is something that I put on top of any lippies that I wanna cool down the color because it's nude and very pretty. Showy is my fave of all becuase I'm such a lover of pink lippies 💄

Plus Size Problem: Oily Face

Hello, Lads! Welcome to my face!

Today, let's talk about face :) I am not really sure if you are like me but my face skin type is "very oily" aaaannnd yes! You read that right! I literally wake up and my face is like a pan with cooking oil. 

Since Highschool I have been trying facial wash that will help me control my face oil and it was only like two years ago when I discovered "Master". 

I know it's not the typical face wash for a lady but I am a living proof that it really helps my skin to get that "zeroil" feeling. 

These are the Master products that I often use. 

Using these products made me feel that men & women are now equal. Hahaha!

I know that facial mask is now a thing but as of this writing, I haven't tried any and I am really happy with what I use.

Plus Size News: Sephora in the PH

OMG! I'm so happy to see Sephora.ph in action! I have a couple of Sephora that my sister gave me when she went here in Manila last year and I was like smiling all the way coz I just normaly see them in YouTube when my favorite gurus reviews them and you know, having one and literally touch them was like a dream come true hahaha! Okay, I know it might sound crazy but if you're like a fan-girl like me, you would understand.

NAILS: Wet n Wild Wildshine

Heya Big Girls! Yesterday I was at Glorietta and went to Pure Beauty and found myself blushing to these awesome stuff. 

- wet n wild "Dreamy Poppy"

- wet n wild "Bleu Pacifique"

To be honest, I never tried any wet n wild nail polish before so I am very excited to try them out. 

Apologies for my nails hahaha! I just wanna try them out as soon as I got home. They are very brilliant in color, odor is not that strong and they're not pricey-- Each is 90.00php only. Oh and it dries quickly too!

Now, The real test is how long can they last.I don't expect much coz there's no claim that it is looooong lasting. I just hope they can last for a week at least.

LIP BALM in the Philippines

Thank you so much for supporting this blog even in my absence and tho I havent done something in here for a while ;) Your comments and messages are my inspiration to discover new things everyday.


In this new entry, I want to share Lip Balm products that I have tried and tested. 


1. Chapstick
I think this is the first thing that you will think once you hear the word Lip Balm. This is the lip balm that most of your high school friends will recommend or this will be the first lip balm that your parents will buy you hahaha! This is very easy to find that even 711 has it. You will not have a problem looking for it, that's for sure.


2. Maybelline NewYork Lip Balm
A friend of mine recommended this when we were in college. The first thing that came in to my mind is that, it might be expensive because of the brand but I was wrong, it is not as pricey as what I thought of. I've only tried the cherry flavor and it was pretty cool. You can buy it in local beauty shops and in Maybelline stands in your nearest mall.


3. Benetint Lip Balm
If you are a Benefit lover then this is for you! Benetint is indeed color-ific (if theres a word like that). For first timers I would suggest for you to try it first coz you might find it a bit oily. Benetint is a bit pricey but its a must try. You can find it in some online shop or in a high end beauty shops in the metro.


4. Beauty Rush Lip Balm
Victoria Secret came up with a lip balm that I think is the oiliest of all lip Balm. The first time Ive used it I kinda felt that I ate Litson and was not able to wipe my mouth hahaha! But as I used it more often, I get used to   it. To be honest, I really dont know the shops where you can buy them but for sure you can purchase them in any online shops that sells beauty products.


5. Burt's Bees Lip Balm
Save the best for last! Burts Bees lip balm is a bit pricey but very lip and environment friendly. It is made out of bees wax and it has this mint flavor that is very refreshing. They now have a lip balm with color on it. I am currently using the Lip balm with pomegranate oil. I bought mine in Beauty Bar at Gateway.

* Lip Balms are used to moisturize our lips.
* Can be applied as often as needed.
